The Gathering at 840

The Gathering at 840 is the culmination of a vision that began over 12 years ago. It

started with a conversation I had with a builder friend.

The conversation centered on the builder’s challenge to me to start a church in the

area near Page High School. He explained that hundreds of homes would be built

and thousands of people would live in the area in a few years.

I took it to heart but did not feel the timing was right for me to start a church even

when he offered thirty-seven acres of land for a church site. A few years passed and

the builder once again challenged me to start a church in the area and showed me a

sixty-eight acre tract of land near Page High School that might be for sale. It

appeared to be a perfect church site but once again I felt the timing was not right.

Fast forward to 2016. After pastoring a Nashville church for twelve years, the Lord

has given me and some other believers a vision to start the church. We have prayed

and planned for this for over a year and we feel the time is right.

The Gathering at 840 is a community of believers inviting others to follow Christ

with us. We are a church:

  • Built upon a biblical foundation,
  • Dedicated to preach and teach the Word of God faithfully,
  • Seeking to live for Christ daily,
  • Doing life together as a church family
  • Ready to make disciples
  • Excited to be in the Southeast Williamson County Community

We are a multi-generational church with a clear focus on serving families with

children, students and young adults. We will help men and women do well

individually, in their marriages and families. We have an experienced core

leadership that is ready to fulfill our passion of fulfilling the God’s Commission by

introducing persons to the joy of following Christ.

We are here and we are ready to do life together with you as we follow Christ in

these exciting times! Come and see what God is doing in your community.
